About

Accountable Impact Commons is a Lab at LF Decentralized Trust, part of the Linux Foundation. The Lab maintains the Anthropogenic Impact Accounting Ontology Suite, a semantic framework for representing anthropogenic impact accounting data in a machine-readable format.

The work is the product of collaboration by members of the Standards Working Group of the LFDT Climate Action and Accounting SIG, and became a Lab in July 2026. The Lab is listed on the LFDT Labs site.

We chose the name Accountable Impact Commons because we view these ontology resources as belonging to a global and open community.
